This past weekend I set up my Apartment for Christmas! :] I set up my 6ft tree and hung all of my childhood ornaments on it, plus all those glass bulbs! I hung my stockings over my fire place, and put up my window decals, as well as placed little Christmas nick naks throughout the place! All the while listening to my Christmas jams and baking gingersnaps. Yes it was a jolly ol' time!  Ollie even thought he might help out! Apparatly the Christmas cheer from Saturday night was too much for us though since Monty and I slept in until almost noon Sunday morning! It's hard getting up when you have such a cute puppy laying on your stomach.  Also to our much excitement, Aunt Kori gave Braden and I her basketball tickets! Hurray for a great game and comfy seats where you actually get to SIT. Unlike the student section... haha We had great seats as well so def. a fun Saturday night!

Ok The past few weeks have been busy but the weekend before last was magnificent weather wise!  I went on two hikes, one up South Fork (one of my fav spots) and another one with just my Ollie boy up dry canyon! Monty all tired out. haha Because I am just OBSESSED with the pictures I took from my Dry Canyon adventure I posted a bunch below. The majority of the time I wore a t-shirt and capris. I probably went at least 3 maybe 4 miles up the canyon around big baldie (the mountain in front of Timp) On my way back down the sunset was perfect! And of course finishing with a view of glorious Timp in the background. I love Utah! :]

Also I carved pumpkins with friend Braden this year. I saw this really cool pumpkin online with Tinker bell and went for it. I'm not a huge tinkerbell fan but it was cool so ya. And Braden the artist went with disney too and did the castle but he made it a little too big for his pumpkin... haha Still cook though!  For work us 3 girls in Customer support dressed up as the 3 musketeers and our manager is Dartagnan, because he wants to be one of us... haha (not really though) I love this company lots of people dressed up but I think we had the best theme! :]  All for one, and one for all! And here's a better view of my pumpkin with her trail of fairy dust... It took a while to get all those holes punched.. And there's a lot more smaller ones that weren't bright enough to be captured on camera. Basically this Halloween has been a big success! Hopefully tonight will be just as great!

Ok to start my Halloween celebration post, I'll start it off right with FHE! :] I finally got to go to an FHE because a client I normally have Monday nights at 7 canceled on me. Hurray! So we had a huge group go!  I spent the night with these lovely ladies! We started off with a lovely trip to my fav. attraction the porter potties. (jk) and then headed into the BYU vs. U Maze! We did the Y side first and we were so proud because we were out in 5 min... only somehow we came out the kiddie maze side.. not sure how we got in there but that maze was fun! (they had spinning wheels you had to act out as you walked so we played marco polo all the way out. haha) So we headed into the U side with the goal of gettting to the other side and then coming out on top. We were successful  and we did get quite lost! Then we admired some pumpkins, rode a hay ride, wandered around aimlessly, and took pics in the stocks and on the infamous rocking chair! Best part of the night was gettin

So I love Sunday mornings. They are officially my favorite mornings of the week. Not only because I get to sleep in... haha but I also get to stay in bed for however long I want once I actually do wake up! So Sunday mornings are cuddle times and both of my boys love it to. haha After that I get up and clean up around my apt and do laundry and then make myself a nice pancake breakfast before heading to church at 1... I don't think I've ever enjoyed having 1:00 church so much haha  This past Sunday I discovered my new favorite hike. A friend and I went up to Dry Canyon. It's about the same difficulty as the Y.. maybe a little easier and gives you a great view of OREM and the lake. It's only like 3 minutes away from my house and the trail itself is actually beautiful! And it can go on for miles around the base of Mt. Timp. This past Sunday was so beautiful I couldn't help but take my dogs up there! It was really great! Oh ya and I hang my feet over the e

Ok So as promised, here are pictures of my new place!! :] My car in MY driveway. Right in front of my care there are some stairs that go down into the basement. That window opens to my living room.  Here is a picture of my very spacious bathroom... haha  And then this is the hall way that looks from my living room down the hall. The first door on the left is the bathroom. The second door is the spare bedroom, and the door open at the end of the hall is my room. There's another door on the right that leads into my storage room and then to the laundry room and out to the back door.  This is a picture as soon as you walk through the front door this is my kitchen and directly to the left via an open floor plan is my living room. I realy am in love with my kitchen. I have lots of counters and floor space and a fireplace! Below: A picture of my spare bedroom, It's kind of an all purpose room but I do some exercises, put my dogs in the kennel when they're misb

One Saturday after I got off work I went on a really awesome date! We went four-wheeling up American Fork Canyon. It was freezing but of course I hadn't gotten my winters clothes out yet so all I had was jeans and a sweater... ah well. We went up this really rocky and narrow little trail to Forest Lake. The trail was pretty muddy and there was lots of snow on the ground. And of course I had to go to the bathroom so I had to trek off into the snow.. haha It was quite the adventure! I even got to take it off a jump a couple times ! As we were driving back down the trail I got to drive and I was doing ok for most of it... Until we were almost clear of the hard part.... And it got too narrow and I sort of lost control and ya the whole thing tipped over on me and crushed me underneath it. Luckily the handlebars must have hit something because I didn't have the total weight on me... but it sure threw my hip and right shoulder as well as bruised my leg up pretty bad... It w

Ok so a little break from my outdoors adventures. General Conference weekend just happened and it was amazing! It was a beautiful weekend and I heard so many things I really needed to hear. Of course as always Elder Uchtdorf's talk was my favorite. I love the quote "doubt your doubts, before you doubt your faith" This goes right along with my favorite talk from April's conference by Elder Holland about going off of what you know, instead of what you don't. Throughout the past year this is probably the thing that has kept my testimony the strongest. So I absolutely loved this quote! Thank you conference! I also got to enjoy painting some furniture.. that I  kind of did on whim not gonna lie. I got some beautiful blue and white pillows for my couch from Ikea so I decided to paint my furniture to match! It didn't take too long and it was a really great activity for Saturday! I loved painting and I love the effect. I'll post a picture of the finished p

Towards the end of September I finally got Jordan and Amol to hike Timp with me! We started around 1 in the afternoon and made excellent time! We had to take a couple breaks on the way up (like 5 min breaks to eat a snack) but we still made it to the summit in just over 4 hours. Then we made it down in about 3.5! So all in all we killed this 18 mile beastly hike in just under 8 hours total! Booya!  I won't lie hiking with Jordan and Amol was probably my funnest adventure up there, but it was also the hardest. Since the weather was considerably colder my muscles never completely loosened up in my legs and my nose ran continually... and I forgot tissue. NEVER FORGETTING TISSUE AGAIN! Seriously... my sweatshirt sleeves were soooo gross by the end of it! The top was especially cold freezing even my reward starbursts in my pockets. Luckily there was this random man and his 10 year old daughter hiking at about the same speed and he was sweet enough to lend me his gloves for th
