Ok The past few weeks have been busy but the weekend before last was magnificent weather wise!  I went on two hikes, one up South Fork (one of my fav spots) and another one with just my Ollie boy up dry canyon!

Monty all tired out. haha

Because I am just OBSESSED with the pictures I took from my Dry Canyon adventure I posted a bunch below. The majority of the time I wore a t-shirt and capris. I probably went at least 3 maybe 4 miles up the canyon around big baldie (the mountain in front of Timp)

On my way back down the sunset was perfect!





And of course finishing with a view of glorious Timp in the background. I love Utah! :]

NYC posts- Brooklyn & Central Park

NYC Day 2: Brooklyn, Lower Manhattan, and Central Park Despite the late night Broadway show before, we were up early and determined to hit the rest of the list. So first up was Brooklyn. It took about 40 min to get to the Bagel Store on Bedford Ave between 2 subway lines and less than mile of walking. Rainbow bagel with funfetti smear: perfection.

 The past week we went to California for Ty's family reunion at Shaver Lake. We drove through the night Tuesday and mistakenly our gps took us a crappy route by Highway 6 and through Yosemite... so it was slow going and a tad scary! I saw two deer on the road on our way that Ty totally missed! Woah! I was super sad that we drove through Yosemite and I couldn't see anything so we determined to go on our way home from the trip! So Saturday we woke up superrr early to have time to make some stops! so here we go....  Not 30 min. driving in the park and we see a cub black bear climbing a tree barely off the road! I made Ty turn around to snap a picture because really.. how many times do you get to be so close to one of these cute little guys? If nothing else went well... going back this long way made the trip worth it to me! We started the main loop with Bridal Veil Falls which was much weaker than it normally is... but the water dumping over the edge of a very tall and ste...
