To finish my Holidays off, when I got home I had the warmest welcome ever from my boys! I really needed some exercise but I couldn't leave them again so I just did some stuff at home.. and ya Monty refused to let me do sit ups. As soon as I lay down he climbed right up and fell asleep... I think he missed me. haha That night was New Year's Eve! And it was fun! Braden and I went to the Gatsby party for a couple hours...  I found it lame and cheap and got pretty mad at the poor party planning that went into it so we left at like 11 and headed to Winco... The martinellis was on sale by that time... haha So I loaded up! And then home to hang out and watch the first half of Start Trek: Into Darkness before I passed out. New Year's Day I slept in nice and late! We had band practice, and I took my boys for a nice walk, and went swing dancing with my favorite partner! (He was visiting from Dallas) So fun! Last Saturday I babysat Kevin and Kori's kids while they went

Ok so now for Christmas business. I finally got a vacation for the first time since August I took a trip and got out of town! I got to visit my folks in Houston for a week! I left Saturday afternoon before Christmas (of course on the day of a blizzard) So I took the tracks to the airport! And I've never been so happy I did! I talked to a really sweet girl studying dietics and going home to open her mission call! And then a guy studying at UVU and flying home to NYC for Christmas... We quickly became airport buddies as we followed the tracks all the way to our gate. (haha same first flight) He even told me I was stylish! Seems my hipster glasses and leather suitcase do me good! haha It was awesome making a friend and we still chat! Hurrah!  The first few days I was there, my family was still settling into their new house which is seriously gorgeous! It was like the spitting image of Ty's and my dream house that we were designing. So I know he would've loved it if he w

Other happenings in December besides work.... There was of course THE HOBBIT: Desolate of Smaug! I went with my best buddy Braden to the midnight premier (first one since the last Harry Potter movie came out... I was exhausted and sick the next day.) It was a fabulous movie and holy cow it is sooo nice being able to reserve your seat now! We just showed up like 45 min before the movie and got our snacks... but there was like no waiting and best of all no sitting outside! So great! Also these people were my heros > If I had more money I would've dressed up. But instead I wore my pajamas. haha  And then there were the Christmas Parties! First was Kneaders. We had delicious food, white elephant gifts, raffles, and funny plate awards. I ended up with this stunning Menorah for my gift (haha !) and my award was "Is Amanda working tonight? No lynn." award because Lynn always asks for me! I love that lady! Seriously I made her a Christmas card and now she sends me Gr

So I apologize for taking so long to update this blog! The holidays were insane between my 4 jobs. To review: Aribex (full time customer service), Personal Training, Kneaders, and my internship with Orriant. Orriant has been the most stressful trying to get my hours in and I always feel like my work isn't as efficient as I'd like it to be... but eh what can you do. 200 hours isn't that bad right? WRONG. It's been no where near as fun as I hoped. Anyways THANKSGIVING! haha I Spent with Kevin and Kori. The food was FABULOUS! By far the best Thanksgiving dinner I've ever had and even the Turkey was delicious! (Thanks to the 25 lb bird Ty and I got the year before... it was still good) haha I also ran my first 5 k that morning with some coworkers. Since I had been training for the 5k for our wellness program I ran with Mike Heyn (director of sales) and his daughter.Well at least I ran the first mile with them and they left me in the dust. haha but Still for how
