On our last day we took it easy with a Beach day. We drove out around noon so the sky was finally starting to clear and went to Corona Del Mar which is only about 30 minutes from Annaheim and still stunning! We even saw a baby seal taking a nap on the rocks! Wildlife ya! There's Big Corona Del Mar which is a bit more like a Boardwalk but if you search for "little" its right around the ridge and you do have to walk down a hill from a residential area to get to it but hey parking is free and there's a bunch of rocks and fun sea caves to explore! It was sunny and even the wind died down making it a PERFECT beach day! We climbed around on the rocks the majority of the time we were there but I also got to lay out in the sun and Braden waded in the water... (which as always was WAY too cold for me... sorry California but swimming is a losing battle at your beaches) We hung around just long enough for the boys to get sun burned and then headed bac

More Disneyland! On our second day of our trip we spent the whole day at California Adventure... I know what you're thinking.. a whole day?! (There are way less rides) well I'll have you know there are still tons of great places to explore, less wait time on lines (at least while we were there)  and fantastic shows! So I didn't even have a problem not getting a park hopper on this trip. We started off with Soarin fast passes which is the only way to do Soarin in my opinion.. that line is just painful for me. Then explored the Grizzly Rapids area (including walking right onto the ride) The best time to ride that ride is in the morning before it gets too hot.. trust me. They have this really fun adventure park (which I say is a lore more fun for kids, but hey we still enjoyed walking around and even spotted Doug!) This was also my first time being to Cars Land which opened a few years ago but I've been spending my time in Disney World and just barely made it bac

For Braden's birthday (late birthday) this year I decided we should go to Disneyland since he'd never been before! We left on Sunday and drove down with 2 of his friends and got there in time do do a bit of shopping around Downtown Disney and watch the weekend fireworks. Monday we got up bright and early and headed into the Magic Kingdom. We decided to pass on park hoppers (since theyre like 40 extra a day!) so we had just one day to do everything! And it was BUSY. Most likely due to celebrating Diamond Days for the 60th anniversary. (check out how decked out the castle is behind us!) Braden's three favorite rides were Indiana Jones, Splash Mountain, and Space Mountain. He even was the sacrificial lamb to get totally soaked in the front seat both times we rode Splash Mountain. Luckily we maximized our use of fast passes (although we may have needed another one for Space Mountain) we got to ride Indiana Jones and Splash Mountain twice at least! And we rode Star To

Whew! So you'll have to excuse this extremely large post... I just had a lot of photos from this weekend! We took the boys (Ollie and Monty) on their first ever camping trip down to Moab! We drove down Sunday morning and hiked Negro Bill Canyon as soon as we rolled into town. This is probably one of my favorite hikes in all of Utah and it's great for dogs! It is a little lengthy but it never gets to strenuous and you can have a lot of fun along the way! You go back into this canyon and I just loved the juxtaposition of all the green down by the creek next to all the red rock! So gorgeous! I did mot of this hike in flip flops as well... so I offroaded into the creek several times and by the end of it Ollie was loving the water! So fun! Lots of green next to the red rock again! Such a beautiful hike! I pretty much let Ollie roam since he was being a good listener but Monty I kept on an extra long leash so he didn't run off. As if the hike wasn't gorgeou
