Here's your weekly update on my adventures. Tuesday night I hiked with my favorite group led by Alicia "Girl on a Trail" (follow her blog at http://girlonatrail.com/) There were a tonnn of us hikers and lots and lots of dogs which made it a great time! We hiked up a pass on the backside of Big Cottonwood Canyon called Guardsman Pass. You get a first stop of Bloods Lake and then continue on to Lackawaxen Lake! I know right?  It was a gorgeous evening and that lakes were stunning Alipine lakes... but the bugs. were. terrible. I mean the guy hiking in front of me easily had 8 on his back at a time hitching a ride. Luckily I borrowed another hiker's bug spray at the beginning and miraculously escaped with only a few bites but MAN they were heavy! Which is also why I don't have very many pictures... we were constantly moving. I'd recommend this hike later in the season once it cools down or in the heat of the day... dusk is just too much of a buggy tim

This weeks adventures let's see... I continued the tradition of visiting Home Depot. Ladies and Gentlemen, this will be my 4th trip in less than a month. What did I need this time? Velcro, a special drill bit from these crazy screws the previous owner left jacked up in the wall, and a shelf ( which I was hoping to use as a vanity in my dressing room but couldn't find any studs to hang it from... Tried anyways and it was a failure. Lesson #1 Wide big shelves NEED studs to hang. Seriously the shelf started pulling the screws out of the wall as soon as I tried to mount it... SCARY) All in all I already am planing my next weeks' trip.  Tuesday eve I took the dogs on a new hike I hadn't done yet up AF canyon called Silver Lake! Boy was it an adventure! First thing to know, the directions don't mention you must travel the dirt road from hell to get to this hike... Not kidding it's 30 min of anxiety filled torture and mourning the certain death of your litt

Well these aren't the photos you're prob looking for but hey there's some sneaky hints in there somewhere prob? Monty was snuggling with Braden. I just love how big of a teddy bear he is! He's adapted really well to the new house too! So far haven't found any spots in the house and hope to keep it that way!  And Ollie snuggling with a beach ball on his new bed! That's right pay special attention to the theme of his bed.. It's going to be the theme throughout the entire house! Also check out that floor. Love my gorgeous kitchen and living room floors. :)  Took the boys on a quick hike up Battle Creek again. We just love it up there especially once we get far enough up I can let the boys loose. Ollie gets in the water and swims and goes exploring. It's a good time all around :)  One more peak at the house decor... The new painting I got to hang above my dining space. I got it for pretty cheap at Tai Pan trading and I think it looks gor

So here's the run down on my life as of late! As I dropped in my last post, I bought a house! In pleasant Grove to be exact :) It's a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom multi level built in 1998. Corner lot with a seriously massive yard. (0.25 lot) and the back yard is completely fenced. I've got a door from my kitchen to the garage and then onto a cement patio as well as french doors from the master out onto a nice sized deck. AND the view from the deck is a gorgeous view of Mt. Timp! Honestly it's as good as it gets when it comes to my yard. No moving in was a bit of a drama.. The guy took a lot longer to get out of the house than he should've so I got the keys about 6 hours after the house was actually mine... He also happened to leave a wedding dress in the upstairs bedroom closet which I happily tried on! And it fit like a glove! I actually really loved it but they came back the next day realizing they'd left it and I handed it over. I did however, get a fabulous
