We went to Capitol Reef with our friends Kyler and Megan, and we did the hike Sulfur Creek. I would highly recommend it! It was soooo fun! It was like a 6 mile hike and took the majority of the morning and early afternoon. First you follow the wash from chimney rock downstream till you hit the creek. Then you just follow it down stream till you get  to the Visitor Center. Pretty hard to go amiss. First of all it's just fun to hike in water I think. Second of all, there were 3 big waterfalls and a couple rapids, that you can climb down around or slide down, soo fun.

Left: This is me up on a rock wall. The picture doesn't show how high it is, but it really is quite high up.
Right: Near the beginning of the hike we came across this crevice in the rock... It was interesting. And while we were there, we found two little baby birds that had fallen out of a nest in the rock. We thought we saw Mamma bird, so we picked them up and put them in a new hole in the rock. They were so cute!
This was like a tube along the base of the rock. The smooth rock curved above, and below, which is what we are walking on.
Another crevice in the rock! That we had to climb up into, haha.
Tyler a little further down from the crevice, trying to climb up the rock wall to where...?
Me climbing a tree :]
Tyler stemmed p the crack to get up there. It was cool, because you could
see exactly where and how the rock split away from the cliff.

This trip was immensely fun! I don't have the pictures from Sulfur creeks waterfalls yet, so there is more to come!
