And Day 3 of my hiking trips, I took the boys up to SLC to try out Neff's Canyon with my favorite dog group! Again we had tons of people show up and lots of doggies! Neff's canyon is really gorgeous and not too difficult of hike. Never all that steep in the beginning and you can hike up to this really lovely little spring for the dogs to drink and swim in!
I got to rock out my fanny pack again and even hooked Monty on for parts of the hike. Works great!

The group! And its a pano... so some weird things did happen with the dogs. lol Ollie's about half cut out there.

We prob only hiked 2 miles but still lots of fun! There was the spring and some rope swings that were fun. All in all a great little hike for Salt Lakers to get away and do... but a bit of a drive for a very laid back hike for utah valley residents...

Another Carbon County Success story: Getting to watch closing races of a 3 day event: The Castle Country Clash at the Desert Thunder raceway. Some of you who knew me years ago would know I was a big NASCAR fan back in the day. (I mean I made NASCAR board game for a 5th grade math project once...I was serious about it)  So when Tina asked us if we would be interested in attending the weekend's stock car races my answer was an easy YES! Saturday with our ATV ride, we were wiped out but luckily we finished our hike Sunday just in time for me to check out the afternoon races.

Fall Carbon County ATV Tour Let me start off this post by saying that not only did this tour far exceed my expectations, but the entire area did. If you hear Carbon County, most people immediately ask "what is there to even do there," "where is that?" Then you mention "Price" which is on all the road signs when you head from SLC to Moab and you get a few nods.  WELL, time to change that.

NYC Day 2: Brooklyn, Lower Manhattan, and Central Park Despite the late night Broadway show before, we were up early and determined to hit the rest of the list. So first up was Brooklyn. It took about 40 min to get to the Bagel Store on Bedford Ave between 2 subway lines and less than mile of walking. Rainbow bagel with funfetti smear: perfection.
