Valentine's Day 2014. I had a 4 part Valentines Day experience! Wednesday night was Galentine's day with Jordan! We got kneaders treats, made a beautiful blue sparkling lemonade, painted our nails, and watched this movie called Austenland! The movie was hilarious and so sweet at the end! If you feel like an entertaining and easy to watch film and have a thing for ooey gooey it's definitely great! And I went for the ultimate girl nails painting each one a different color with one nail having writing on it (ring finger) and drawing hearts on another! Definitely great girl time!  Thursday night: I went out to Olive Garden with my good friend Kirstin from Yuma! We got our signature soups and the cute little dessert cups! We were so stuffed afterwards but it was great catching up before her missionary comes home in less than a month! Finally Friday... I wasn't sure how I would actually feel on Valentine's day. It's my first after 3 with Ty, and to be hone...

In Other News: My Cousin and greatest friend Jordan got engaged to her sweetheart Amol! It was the sweetest thing ever on their 1st year anniversary together! And I got to be there to take pictures and witness! It was great! Congrats you to! And I can't wait for the wedding! :]  There was also the Super Bowl! Monty has been in constant support of football these days. (Doesn't he just look so handsome in this sweater?) I spent the majority of the game with Jordan and her friends. They made some fantastic burgers and dip! Then I went for the last little bit to hang out with some Kneaders friends. The game was terrible but surprisingly I paid the most attention I ever have to the super bowl... I can actually pay attention to sports.. what's happening to me?!  The other night my kneaders friends and I had an epic battle of Game of Thrones. My manager was the only person who had played it before so he taught us all. It was pretty complicated (20pg manual guys) but I...

One of my New Years Resolutions was to read the Book of Mormon (or my scriptures) every night. For the first week I completely failed at this. I had no desire to pick it up let alone read before bed time. Then I had this marvelous missionary experience and I realized that I had never truly read the Book of Mormon cover to cover and been able to focus and actually pay attention. So I resolved to try again. I went to the DI and bought a HUGE Book of Mormon and a smaller one. (P.s. Totally lucked out and got free chocolate that they were handing out that day... it's the little blessings you guys) And since then I have read every single night for 22 days without fail. Even the nights where I came home exhausted after midnight I still sat down, said my prayers and read. I was able to pay complete attention and I can't tell you how great it is to be able to focus on just the Book of Mormon. It's like having a whole clean slate with so much space to take notes and so much more e...

PUPPY POST: So for the past couple of months I have continually watched my gas bill rise (with lots of anticipation) So I have kept my apartment at 60 degrees pretty much the whole time. Basically I live in sweat pants, hoodies, double thick socks, and wrap myself in blankets. My puppies are having to cope as well. Here's some sweet pictures of them staying warm! Left: A snap I sent my friend. Monty literally has 3 blankets under him (all extremely soft) has a sweater on, oh and sitting under a heater. haha He's a spoiled dog.  Ollie likes to cuddle to keep warm. I think he misses me during the day :)  Monty again all curled up and snuggling in bed. Last picture of Ollie on his bed. He looks so cold so I always walk over and cover him with his blanket. He will stay under that blanket for hours sometimes. We all can't wait until it gets warm!
