One of the first few weeks into Fall we decided to go up to SLC and have a day up there. We walked around the new City Creek Center which we actually got to see the roof closing over us which was... REALLY cool. We were amazed at the engineering anyways.

We also did a session... my first live session. Awesome! The SLC temple is soooo beautiful inside. It really is incredible.

Lastly we took a quick tour of the Beehive house! Ty had never been there so it was pretty neat. Sadly we were in too large of a group and didn't get very much information.

Here's Ty in front of his old bedroom!
Me in front of their living room. It constantly surprised me how beautiful the furniture, and carpets, and walls... everything was so fancy! To live back in those days! haha
This is the music room where the carpet is what really impressed me, especially since it is an exact replica of what was originially there.

 Ty in the store :]
We finally got a picture together! Woohoo. In front of the formal dining room on the way out.
My picture in front of the temple! It was beautiful outside just as we were leaving. On our way back to the car we ended our day with a tour of the conference center where we had our own personal tour guide. We learned some pretty dang cool facts, and the conference center is sooo amazing! Better yet not too many people know that there's a fake podium that they use for other functions besides LDS conferences! The real one goes directly underneath the actual stage into a little cubby for protection... pretty interesting stuff. It was a good day, but safe to say we were beyond exhausted.
