Also for stake conference I decided I'd much rather have a trip to the wilderness. So Ty and I took a trip up the Alpine Loop to try out the Stewart Fall trail which I've heard isn't too bad. We timed it so great as the leaves in the valley were changing for Fall. It was so beautiful!
The trail was pretty easy, mostly soft packed dirt and only a few steeper parts. My favorite part on the way there is where you walk through a grove of short trees with white trunks. Kind of felt like a fantasy world.

The Falls were so beautiful! Once we'd hiked down to the bottom we climbed up to the first tier of the waterfall which is where we are left.

Ollie had a blast especially when he was off the leash!
We let him roam for a little while and even let him play with another dog that was there. I didn't want him following here in case he was dumb enough to go over the waterfall. The pools were nice and cool and fun to walk around.

Tyler climbed up even higher to the second tier! It was a little to slippery and steep for me to risk it, but Ollie bounded up and down between us happily. He's such a good mountain dog
Top: looking down the first tier!
Right: Tyler in front of the whole shebang! Really an incredible waterfall! So worth the hike, though I wish we could've gone earlier to have a picnic since that was the original plan.

I LOVE the Fall colors! Especially that color red!

Left: It was good to get out of the house and get some exercise. Not too mention get Ollie out. Poor dog is so neglected. We're at school and work all day and by the time we get home we're too tired to take him for a good decent walk like he needs. Hopefully it will get better soon! Time management and all!

Happy Fall and Happy October everyone! Can't wait for Halloween!
