After the ghost town we headed to the shuttles and rode it to the grotto stop, where we started on the trail for Angel's Landing. This is about a quarter of the way up on the first set of switch backs! Luckily we had shade because it wasn't too hot, unfortunately our picture is in the shade as well.

Left: Naturally we saw a cave like hole... and had to climb up to it.
Here we are at the end of the "in between" The you up the front of angel's landign and then head down a canyon beside it (a nice break between switchbacks) plus it's breezy, shady, and just downright cool!

Also p.s. this trail is awesome, it is paved all the way up to the top where you start walking on the rocks. Such a nice change! I love it!
across from me is this view of Ty with part of the canyons up behind him!
What everyone overly exaggerated was the difficulty and awefullness of the switchbacks: well here's a picture of them looking up... nothing compared to the Y or Bryce Canyon's Navajo Loop. Plus it's over in jiffy. The hard part is really at the top with the chains, I'll be honest.

Top: At the top you have amazing 360 degree views of Zion. Soooo incredible! This was my fav. view with the red rock, canyon, and the amazing virgin river! Did you know that it moves over 1 billion tons of sediment annually, most occurring over 12-15 days of the year of flash floods! Such an amazing little river!

To the left you see the White Throne, not too mention the nice narrow landing we walked out on!
Another really incredible view! I love Zion National Park!!!!

Tyler and I looking awesome in front of my favorite view!

Naturally we had to have a kissing picture at the top :]

And here Megan and I are descending from the top. You can have a little glimpse of the epicness of the climb. Also it should make you feel a little better, it's not nearly as scary as it seems like it would be. You never the the chance to look our or down, you're always watching your feet and where you're stepping.
 Chillin on the edge :]
Here at the bottom is a good view of Angel's Landing... Yes we went all the way to the top of that cliff in 2 hours! We're awesome.
Barely breaking a sweat! ( actually it got very hot on the way down so I was sweating a lot) but still a good picture! We wanted to go jump in the Virgin River after this hike and next trip I do it on, I think I will be jumping in! Good times! Great trip!
