First I forgot to include this little gem in my last post... So here's a picture with Ollie's puppy dog eyes in his adorable costume again. :) The day before Halloween was gorgeous! So Braden and I ventured up Rock Canyon for the sunset and he snapped all of these wonderful pictures for me. I thought I'd post them so we could all remember how wonderful Fall was now that we're bordering Winter where it's dark by the time we leave Work. Yep, thanks a lot day light savings time. Ps. I'm not sure what's happening in this pic to the right but Braden thought I was cute I guess so he took it... Personally I quite enjoy those red flowers behind me. Awesome picture looking down into Rock Canyon from a spot we'd hiked to up the side. It didn't take too long so we were pretty surprised to see how high we'd gone. See the trail way down there? So can you guess what I dressed up as for Halloween? Maleficent! One of my favorite Disney movies in a long time I've seen it twice in theaters! (Well both times in the dollar theater. haha) I think my costume turned out awesome considering how resourceful I was and the fact that I won both of my work parties costume contests! Woot Woot! That long black dress was actually my choir dress from senior year in high school. (so glad I keep hanging onto it) and my staff I made is a wooden rod that I had sitting around the house from my married days ( I think Tyler used it for some engineering project) which I painted brown and then a tennis ball covered in black duct tape and taped to the top of the staff. AND best part? A picture of the crow from the original Sleeping Beauty which I printed and taped to the top and it lasted super well standing up! The only thing I had to buy is the head dress which I admit I did splurge a bit on... It cost like $25 but it was by far the best on...
