Also before I left on vacation I got both Monty and I in to get our hair done. Monty got a short short cut but with a Teddy Bear head... Once it grows in a tad bit it will be the most adorable ever! And I finally changed my hair again after years! I got red and blonde highlights just to try it out and since I had a coupon to the hair school. It took FOREVER but only cost me like $30... so no complaints. haha I think it turned out pretty nice on both of us :)

So the second week of June I got my first vacation! I visited NC for Jordan and Amol's wedding where I had an awesome time watching Chandler outside. She is the cutest ever! So even though I couldn't go inside, I still had fun being apart of it. After the reception we had lunch at some really delicious bbq place! (not kidding sooo good) and then later had their reception which the decorations and food turned out incredibly! I especially loved the little fruit tarts, pasta salad, and that grape salad! We also had lots of family time after that and Sunday morning before I headed up to my old stomping grounds in VA with Tiff and David.  We started that trip off great Monday by going to the Zoo! My favorite was the red panda! One: because he's adorable and two: because his exhibit tree literally extended right over us on the walk way. He climbed all over and even came down that ladder!  Next favorite of course was the train. (Maybe tied for 1st) While Chandler is...

Now before you freak out let me explain.... Saturday night while Braden and I were out walking I happened upon this doggy here who looked exceptionally lost. He was very skiddish and kept running away when I would walk up so I ran home and got a treat and slowly approached him (we were really close to my house). Once I gave him the treat he trusted and loved me completely. Since it was a saturday and animal control doesn't operate on the weekends, we set it up to have a police officer meet us at the shelter so we could turn him over.  Well we waited like an hour until 11:30 and this dog waited very patiently just snuggled with me in the backseat until I decided he would just come home with me for the weekend. So I have kept him mostly in my back yard. He has just been the sweetest thing though also cuddling and happy to see me (happier than I see in my own dog's faces) and it makes me feel like I've given him this sense of security. He reminds me a lot of Ollie wi...

Also a little update on the increase in responsibility I now have at kneaders. I am the head basket maker! So 2-3 times a week I go in and clean up the retail area, restock, and make adorable baskets! My favorite part thus far? Driving the kneaders van over to our storage unit to get basket supplies. I held the world in my hand. haha

Ok So here is the Memorial Day Blog Post! This year was a blast! And I sure did appreciate my first paid Holiday of the year! (I haven't taken a single day off yet this year! Saving up for all those trips coming up) So I spent the day mostly with Braden! First I definitely enjoyed sleeping in a bit and then I hit the gym. Did a little bit of cycling and a little bit of chest with Braden after. Then we grabbed our stuff and headed to Seven Peaks. Plus his little brother Colton came with us. We got there about 11 and amazingly it really wasn't too busy. None of us had tubes unfortunately but we rode like the 3 good slides that you can ride without tubes. I won the racing slide EVERY. TIME. Undefeated :) haha Good technique I think...  After that we stopped by a couple stores. Sprouts was having a killer deal on cantaloupes and watermelon so I got some of those then to Smiths to get a few more items. At home I started some drinks cooling and cut up the waterme...

So The past few weeks haven't been eventful enough for me to take pictures but I have done a few things exciting. Braden took me on a date to see Into the Woods at Timpanogos High School. (I think he had more fun just showing me around his high school then anything) I was pretty impressed with the scenes and props. It was certainly much more of a production than the one I was in. The singers all did pretty well even though the mics faded in and out a lot. And they did ACT 2! So it was very long! (Personally I'm glad we only did Act 1) All in all pretty great date night!  And this past Friday I just finally accomplished my goal of hiking Pride Rock (Squaw Peak) Jordan and I have dreamed of hiking up there since we were little 16 year olds at EFY and had no clue you could actually get up there. WELL MY FRIENDS, almost 5 years later I did it! And boy was it harder than I thought it would be. I actually will compare it to hiking Timpanogos. It's hard my friends! ...

This week has been full of work and being lazy around the house. The only adventure really I had was a trip to Heber again and this time to go four-wheeling! It was a gorgeous day and of course the adventure started with Dariy Keen.. I have a hard time driving up there and not getting some of my favorite soft serve deliciousness. Not sure how many miles we went but it was right around sunset and we did get pretty high! I mean I was maneuvering in snow for a bit... Lot's of sliding and honestly I was a little nervous. haha  The snow prob made it even prettier I'd say. I just love looking at the Wasatch range from the Heber side! And for the perfect depiction of what my weekend looked like.. snuggles all day and all night. I had work saturday morning and Braden and I went for a couple walks/ ordered pizza but for the most part it was laying around in my pajamas in and out of naps snuggling with my 3 favorite boys ;) Also I just can't get over how cute Monty ...

This weekend was a fabulous weekend! One of the best in a while! It started off Thursday night when Jordan and I did a bit of shopping and then had ourselves a sleepover! We got all caught up on dating and wedding business and she helped me plan out my attack of the next day morning. Friday morning we got up and got started. It was Braden's B-day so I had this extravagant scavenger hunt planned out for him. First I had him show up after class (I wasn't there) and he let himself in to find part 1 of this b-day present: good smelling spray from Bath and Body works and his first clue which led him to The Hobbit movie on my tv stand which then led him to my backyard where he had to climb a tree and then to the park by my house and then his car then winco )by the chocolate covered gummi bears, then the library (the JRR Tolkien section) the gym and finally ending at the Dry Canyon Trail Head where I waited with stuff for a picnic! I wrote it all out in poem form (you ca...
